Your Contribution

As a Specialist Source to Contract, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing Newmont''s procurement technology landscape. You will oversee the administration, enhancement, and support of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba solutions across sourcing, contracting, supplier lifecycle management, and risk processes. Your expertise will help drive operational efficiency, system reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement across global supply chain operations.

As part of our team, you will

  • Support and optimize SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA Source to Contract solutions.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to Ariba integrations, SAP interfaces, ABAP, and middleware technologies.
  • Monitor and address interface failures across Ariba Network (AN), Integration Manager (IM), Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), and SAP systems.
  • Configure and maintain sourcing, contracting, supplier lifecycle management, and risk management processes.
  • Manage master data replication between SAP and Ariba environments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify technology solutions that improve procurement operations.
  • Support implementation and enhancement projects while ensuring successful delivery, quality, and business alignment.
  • Act as the liaison between IT and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices across procurement technologies.
  • Ensure solutions comply with internal controls, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role

  • Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA procurement solutions.
  • Experience with Source to Contract, Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLP), sourcing, contracts, supplier risk, and procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP integrations, data migration, and interface management.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions and integration points within SAP environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technology solutions.
  • Strong project delivery experience, including Agile, Scrum, or PMP methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in mining, construction, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Working Conditions

  • This role operates within the Information Technology organization and partners closely with Supply Chain, Asset Management, Finance, Human Resources, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, and external vendors. The position supports global procurement technology initiatives and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant sourcing and supplier management solutions.
  • The preferred location for candidates is near our corporate headquarters, in Denver, Colorado; however highly qualified candidates near our regional offices, or any of our site locations, will be considered.
  • The listed salary range applies to positions based in Colorado. Compensation may vary for candidates hired in other locations.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $106,200- 141,600. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
