As a Specialist – Supplier Relations, you will serve as the primary liaison between external suppliers and Wesco. You will manage national supplier partnerships by ensuring accurate supplier data, tracking performance metrics, developing issue resolution, and assisting with supplier programs that impact availability, cost, and service levels.


Responsibilities:


+ Lead day-to-day interactions between Wesco and the external partner, including gathering information, following up on open items, and supporting routine communication.

+ Schedule and prepare materials for supplier meetings, business reviews, and planning sessions.

+ Responsible for coordinating meetings with suppliers and sales teams, document meeting notes, action items, and follow-though requirements.

+ Maintain supplier scorecards, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.

+ Review data related to fill rates, on time delivery, quality issues, and cost changes, communicate findings to internal teams and external partners to drive strategies and solutions.

+ Develop resolutions for delivery or order discrepancies and coordinate with supply chain teams to execute.

+ Advise internal and external partners regarding demand planning by collecting supplier forecasts, lead time updates, and production constraints.

+ Assist with contract renewals, amendments, and documentation workflows.

+ Responsible for product setup, pricing updates, and promotional activities.

+ Collaborate with suppliers to educate sales teams regarding supplier funded marketing or training initiatives.

+ Evaluate supplier proposals, gather data for cost or program analysis, and provide recommendations based on the findings.

+ Manage supplier relationships involving maintaining accurate supplier records, tracking supplier responses to corrective action requests and processing supplier updates in ERP or supplier management systems.


Qualifications:


+ Bachelor's Degree - Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field required

+ 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or administrative support

+ Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data

+ Proficiency with Excel and basic reporting tools

+ Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

+ Strong analytical skills

+ Ability to travel 0% - 25%
