You will join a great team of talented professionals who take a collaborative approach and enjoy working together.Essential FunctionsGenerate and manage system and subsystem-level requirements specifications using requirements management tools such as DOORS, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the lifecycleConduct comprehensive requirement traceability analysis to ensure all stakeholder needs are fully addressed and covered by the system requirements.Document the development of system capabilities and ensure comprehensive architectural representation aligned with requirementsCreate and maintain verification matrices; actively support system verification and validation activities including test planning and executionLead and manage technical teams in a collaborative environment to successfully meet project objectivesDefine and manage interfaces between system elements, using Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and other means to ensure compatibility and interoperability.Leverage interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills to foster cross‑functional teamwork and resolve technical challenges effectivelyLead efforts to innovate and improve existing system designs. Resolve complex technical issues that arise during the design, development, or deployment phases.Perform detailed trade studies and system analysis to evaluate design options, balance requirements, and make informed decisions.Engage with customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.QualificationsBachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional SkillsExperience contributing to and/or leading design reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).RF and SATCOM ExperienceDemonstrated experience in network engineering, including the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network architecturesProven experience in systems engineering principles and practicesUse modeling tools and methods (e.g., SysML, UML) to create clear and detailed system architecture diagrams.Risk Management ExperienceL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
