    ROLE AND PURPOSE:

    The Systems Integration Specialist role is to assist and conduct planning, coordinating and implementation of all activities related to identifying management systems and the integration of web-based/ software programs and applications into organizational information systems. The Systems Integration Specialist will also assist in operating and maintenance of servers and other system integration components to ensure high levels of availability and security of the core organizational applications.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Certification:

    • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution, required.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer science or 4 years of experience with integration/systems in lieu of the degree.

    Experience:

    • 4 years of experience with integrations/systems preferred.

    SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

    • Knowledge of LDAP, SSO, Azure, Google Admin, SQL, SAML implementation and operation.
    • Experience with SQL queries
    • Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
    • Direct, hands-on experience with automated software management tools, rostering platforms and integrations software, including but not limited to one-roster data standards.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    I. ADMINISTRATION AND FISCAL/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT:

    • Assist with the integration of new applications into existing network infrastructure, systems and software throughout the enterprise.
    • Ensure that existing and any new software integration into the organization systems meets functional requirements, security compliance, and other specifications as needed.
    • Research and make recommendations regarding the integration of products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
    • Evaluate, install, configure and deploy new applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to applications throughout the enterprise.
    • Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
    • Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application and identify connected software issues.
    • Enhance or improve business processes via integration.
    • Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, management, and end users.
    • Monitor daily logs for automations.

    II. SCHOOL/COMMUNITY RELATIONS:

    • Maintain contact with business, industry, and institutions of higher learning concerning technological trends and applications.
    • Ensure that the goals and objectives of the district are being met.
    • Participate in the information gathering process as needed across the district.

    III. PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT:

    • Attend appropriate Professional Learning opportunities.
    • Seek and accept comments from administrators, department heads and other school personnel to improve services provided.
    • Meet with other school districts for the purpose of sharing ideas that will improve integration efforts across all areas of the district.

    IV. MISCELLANEOUS:

    • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Information and Instructional Systems or the Manager of System Integrations.

    • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive, etc.)
    • Google Suite applications (Docs, G-Mail, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.)

    • Environment: Work inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather); exposure to noise
