Specialized Products Processor

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience processing niche lending products and understands that each investor may have different documentation standards, submission requirements, portal workflows, overlays, turn times, and product-specific nuances. This individual must be able to maintain accurate tracking, follow up consistently, and ensure each loan is processed according to the applicable investor and company requirements. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Processing niche mortgage loans, primarily including Bank Statement and DSCR loan products. 
• Reviewing loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor and company guidelines. 
• Managing a pipeline of loans across multiple investors, ensuring each file follows the correct portal, product, documentation, and submission process. 
• Maintaining detailed tracking of investor requirements, outstanding conditions, submission status, turn times, and follow-up items. 
• Communicating clearly and proactively with Mortgage Bankers and Borrowers.  
• Gathering, reviewing, and validating borrower documentation, including income, asset, credit, entity, lease, property, and business-related documentation as applicable. 
• Identifying potential file issues early and escalate concerns when needed to avoid delays. 
• Monitoring loan conditions and working with all parties to clear outstanding items in a timely manner. 
• Staying current on investor product updates, guideline changes, overlays, portal requirements, and documentation expectations. 
• Ensuring loans move efficiently through processing while maintaining accuracy, quality, and a strong borrower experience. 

 What you’ll bring 

• 2 – 5 years processing experience required 
• Experience supporting loans of various product types
• Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, loan conditions, income review, asset documentation, and credit-related requirements 
• Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining accuracy and organization
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to track multiple moving pieces across different investor processes 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Excellent customer service 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues before they impact closing timelines 
• Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems (investor portals)
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
