Key Responsibilities:
- Direct patients to exam rooms and perform patient intake, including medical histories and vital signs.
- Assist providers with specialty-specific procedures and treatments, and administer medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and ensure rooms are stocked for patient visits.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including specialty tests and referrals.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of confidentiality requirements and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with office equipment and practice management software.
- Ability to multitask effectively and work well within a team.
- Strong leadership skills following the servant leadership model
- Certification with the national registry as a Medical Assistant - REQUIRED
- No certification? 1-2 years of experience working under the supervision of a Medical Physician
