Job Summary
The Specification Analyst supports tactical execution across multiple units by managing specification processes, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to business standardization efforts. This role is responsible for compiling and analyzing data, supporting decision-making processes, and coordinating project deliverables within established timelines. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with enterprise systems, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Execute local specification and part plan processes in alignment with project timelines and requirements
  • Support change implementation efforts, ensuring audit readiness and standardization across processes
  • Maintain and monitor data integrity across systems, including ECM, parts tracking, and reporting tools
  • Compile, analyze, and summarize data to support business decisions and justifications
  • Collaborate across multiple functional units to drive consistency and alignment in execution
  • Facilitate and coordinate meetings as needed to support project and operational objectives
  • Contribute to broader business initiatives focused on standardization and process improvement
  • Adapt to evolving tools, systems, and process requirements (internal and external)
  • Provide administrative and operational support for specification-related activities
  • Support Bill of Materials (BOM) management and related data processes
  • Act as a flexible resource across projects and workloads as business needs evolve

Years of Experience and Education
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience in specification analysis, data analysis, or a similar operational role
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP or comparable platforms preferred

Skills Required
  • Strong proficiency with SAP and data-driven environments
  • Advanced Excel skills and overall proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with PDM systems (e.g., PDMlink) preferred
  • Exposure to Power BI or Power Apps is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across functional teams
  • Continuous learning mindset with a focus on process improvement
  • Adaptability to changing tools, systems, and business requirements
