Clariti Diagnostics Laboratories is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Specimen Processing Technician to join our growing clinical laboratory team.

As a privately owned, high-complexity laboratory, we are committed to delivering fast, accurate diagnostic testing through exceptional quality, innovation, and teamwork. As a Specimen Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring every specimen is received, processed, and prepared accurately—providing the foundation for reliable patient results.



Primary Responsibilities


  • Receive, accession, and process patient specimens for laboratory testing
  • Verify patient information, test orders, and specimen integrity
  • Prepare, aliquot, and package specimens for referral laboratory testing
  • Coordinate daily send-outs while ensuring compliance with shipping and handling requirements
  • Enter and verify patient and test information within the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
  • Identify and resolve specimen discrepancies by communicating with client facilities when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and specimen tracking throughout the testing process
  • Assist with inventory management, supply stocking, and general laboratory operations
  • Maintain compliance with CLIA, COLA, HIPAA, and laboratory quality standards

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous laboratory, specimen processing, accessioning, phlebotomy, or healthcare experience required
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment
  • Day Shift, and No Weekends
