The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a commitment to patient care, experience with pediatric patients and an active phlebotomy certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect biological specimens (e.g., nasal, oral, blood, urine) following proper protocols and safety standards

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection as needed

  • Accurately label, document, and prepare specimens for transport to the laboratory

  • Maintain proper specimen handling, storage, and chain-of-custody procedures

  • Ensure patient identification and verification before specimen collection

  • Communicate effectively with patients, clinic staff, and laboratory personnel

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control procedures

  • Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and workplace safety

  • Assist with inventory, supply management, and basic administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Phlebotomy certification required (state or national certification accepted)

  • Prior experience in specimen collection or processing preferred

  • Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain accurate records

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, clinical setting

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • Full-time benefits package

  • Opportunities for growth within a mission-driven organization
