The College of Education is comprised of 4 academic departments including Elementary, Middle, and Secondary Education; Educational Leadership and Foundations; Interdisciplinary Professions; Literacy Studies and Special Education.
Job Duties
The Department of Literacy Studies and Special Education at East Carolina University is seeking applications for a temporary, fixed-term, part-time (.90 FTE or less) Teaching Instructor to teach Special Education courses for Summer 2026.
Minimum Education/Experience
Master's degree in Special Education. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
N/A
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Experience working with learners with extensive support needs (i.e., adapted curriculum)
