Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, licensed speech and language pathologist assistant to join our team! As a SLPA, you will be meeting with children with communication disorders and their families to help them reach their communication goals. You will also be documenting daily progress, and collaborating with other clinicians as needed for the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding clinical skills, is able to provide compassionate care, and has excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Meet with families for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions
Implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes with SLP supervision
Maintaining excellent daily notes, care, and outcome
Work closely care providers to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
Qualifications
Active state SLPA license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong charting and documentation skills
Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
