Marshall Public Schools is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist to serve students beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.
Prefer applicants possessing the following qualifications:
- Experience working within a co-plan/co-serve team of general education and special education teachers to meet the needs of all students
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Experience evaluating, planning, and writing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on disability-related needs
- Knowledge and experience providing services within the student's natural environment
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with families and staff
Duties of the Position:
- Innovative educator who works collaboratively with colleagues and develops positive relationships with students and parents.
- Provide speech and language therapy to students based on their disability related needs
- Evaluate students for a variety of communication skills and determine appropriate services to meet the individual student's needs
- Coordinate and participate in IEP team meetings
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programming and student progress using progress monitoring tools
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure a collaborative approach to meeting the needs of each individual student
Degree/Special Training Required: Master/Clinical Certificate of Competence or Clinical Fellowship allowed
