ESY 2026 - Speech and Language Pathologist- SLP3 Positions Total - K-8

Qualifications Required

Valid License as a Speech and Language Pathologist Successful teaching experience. Experience implementing direct speech services including articulation, receptive, and expressive language needs, and social communication. Ability to relate and communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.

Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more information.

Qualifications Preferred

Experience working in the Malden Public Schools. SEI Endorsement.

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEPs. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records. Keep folders and portfolios with student work. Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator. Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program.

Program Administration and Implementation

103 hours total, to include the following:

Professional In-service Days Date TBD 3 hours.

20 days, Monday-Thursday from July 1- August 1, 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Stipend: $40 an hour, $4120 total for 20 days. 1 in-service at 3 hours.
