Job Description
Speech Kids NY is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows for in-person, school-based positions in Howard County, Maryland, for the 2026–2027 school year.
These positions offer the opportunity to support students’ communication development while working in a collaborative school environment with assistance from an experienced clinical team.
Compensation
W-2 fee-for-service employment:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist: $75 per hour
Clinical Fellow: $60 per hour
Position Details
Full-time and part-time opportunities
Monday through Friday schedule
Up to 7.5 hours per day
In-person, school-based setting
Paid documentation time
Flexible scheduling based on school and student needs
Job Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school-based setting
Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Complete session notes, progress reports, and other required documentation
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
Participate in IEP meetings as required
Maintain compliance with school and state requirements

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Maryland SLP license or eligibility to complete a Clinical Fellowship in Maryland
School-based or pediatric experience is preferred
