Become part of our team and join our mission to make life healthier for everyone in our community! **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering speech/language pathology evaluation and intervention to patients with communication and swallowing disorders, as referred by a licensed provider. + Administer treatments as determined by the evaluation in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. + Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. + Assist to develop clinical programs for optimum patient care and service. + Participate in operational aspects, performance improvement, and Quality. + Improvement activities within the department. Provide input in formulating budget, assist in evaluation of departmental performance, and take action to remain in budget guidelines. + Ensure that patient charges and documentation are accurate and entered on a timely basis. + Participate in infection control, equipment training, compliance, safety and educational programs, both at the departmental and organizational level. **REQUIREMENTS** Licensed by the State of Washington as a Speech Language Pathologist, AND Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders or equivalent degree approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, AND A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association.
