Duties

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for caseload management tasks including facilitating group and individual therapy, completing assessments and participating in the IEP process to identify eligible children and develop effective therapy plans, supporting instruction within the classroom, and assisting in the enhancement of school climate. Additional duties may be assigned in accordance with provisions of the Joint Agreement's policies and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Licensed as per Illinois State Board of Education requirements - PEL endorsed as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Maintain a license by Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintains automotive insurance coverage as required by IL law

Salary/Benefits

  • Full-time Permanent, 180-day position, or part-time available
  • August 2026 start date
  • Regionally competitive salary and benefits (range of $54,000 to $85,000, depending on experience)
  • Benefits include board contribution towards insurance and TRS, sick and personal days, Professional Development, mentoring support and training, mileage reimbursement for travel, and other various supports.
