MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate with SLP endorsement
State of Washington SLP license and current license for billing Medicaid
Strong language development background
Ability to evaluate and write IEP's
Ability to relate positively to and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Thorough knowledge of applicable Washington State and Federal rules and regulations
Experience working in a school setting preferred
Flexibility and positive attitude required
Personal vehicle is required for transportation to various sites
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
The SLP provides evaluative, habilitative (therapy), and consultation services for students with disabilities in need of language, speech, or hearing therapy.
