• Pay Rate: $67.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day Shift, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (5x8 Hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is an Inpatient/Outpatient Speech Language Pathology position at an acute care hospital. The role is a hybrid position covering both inpatient and outpatient caseloads, typically 1 3 adult outpatients per day with the remainder being acute hospital patients. The candidate must be able to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies. This is a reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) position 0 hours NBO versus the standard 40-hour NBO.

Required Skills

• Must be able to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies
• Must be independent (first-timers considered)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
• State License required
• Pending license not accepted

Education Requirements

• State SLP License required (CA)
• CCC-SLP required
• BLS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience required; must be independent

• Acute care hospital setting
• Inpatient and outpatient caseload (hybrid IP/OP)
• Typically 1 3 adult outpatients per day; remainder acute hospital
• No call required
• No weekend coverage required
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Navy blue (RNs); L&D/OR scrubs provided
• Free parking
