School Profile: EJE Academies is a single school site TK8 dual-language public charter school committed to academic excellence, biliteracy, and strong relationships with students, staff, and families. As a community school EJE Academies provides a supportive and engaging learning environment that values collaboration, operational excellence, and service to the school community. Job Purpose:Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) assists in providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders. The SLPA implements treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP, supports documentation and therapy preparation, and assists in maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The SLPA performs services consistent with California laws, regulations, and the scope of practice established by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
