    Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (Travel)

    Contract Details: Contractor, 6-month contract with possibility of extension

    Alameda Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. As a contractor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in our state-of-the-art facility located in the beautiful city of Alameda, CA.

    Responsibilities:

    - Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities of patients

    - Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals

    - Provide evidence-based therapy services to patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients

    - Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

    - Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities

    - Stay current on the latest research and techniques in speech language pathology

    Qualifications:

    - Valid state license to practice speech language pathology

    - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist

    - Experience working with a diverse patient population preferred

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    - Proficient in using electronic medical records systems

    - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
