Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6 hours 50 minutes/day including 30-minute meal break

Position Overview
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, communication, and swallowing-related services to students in a school-based setting.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license applicable to Virginia.
Strong knowledge of speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and communication disorders.
Experience conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
Strong understanding of IEP processes and educational support services.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Excellent organization, documentation, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with school staff.
Commitment to student-centered and evidence-based care.
Preferred Qualifications
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Experience providing speech-language services in a school or pediatric setting.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
Evaluate students' speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and communication abilities.
Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans.
Provide individual and/or group speech-language therapy services.
Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Maintain accurate clinical and educational documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals and accommodations.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, school administrators, parents, and healthcare professionals.
Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication skills.
Educate teachers, parents, and caregivers regarding speech and language development.
Identify students requiring additional assessment, specialized services, or referrals.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable educational, clinical, and privacy regulations.
Maintain professional competency and current evidence-based practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
