Looking for a full-time SLPA Monday (9-6) - Friday (8-5).
New Horizon Therapy is seeking a qualified pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to provide support and services under direct supervision of a licensed SLP, for children (birth to 21 years) and work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and social communication. All hours spent at clinic paid.
SLPA's daily responsibilities: - ongoing speech sessions with clients on caseload - data tracking to report on goals - clear communication with parents to review session and to deliver home assignments - maintaining SOAP notes for daily appointments
SLPA's must be able to:
Provide direct treatment by following plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP.
Document client performance and report performance to supervising SLP.
