Position Overview
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school-based setting in Stafford, Virginia.

This opportunity is ideal for an SLPA who enjoys working with students and supporting communication development through individualized therapy activities and collaboration with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and school teams.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide speech and language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP.
  
• 
  Assist with implementation of individualized therapy plans and student communication goals.
  
• 
  Support students with articulation, language, social communication, and other speech-related needs.
  
• 
  Monitor student progress and assist with documentation.
  
• 
  Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff.
  
• 
  Provide engaging therapy activities that support student communication development.
  
• 
  Maintain accurate service records and follow established therapy procedures.
  

Qualifications

• 
  Valid SLPA credential/license required according to Virginia requirements.
  
• 
  Completion of an approved SLPA program preferred.
  
• 
  Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred.
  
• 
  Strong communication and organizational skills.
  
• 
  Ability to work collaboratively under SLP supervision.
