Description
This position requires a Speech Language Pathologist to work onsite in a preschool setting in the Bronx, NY.
The role is full time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 03:30pm.
The candidate will provide essential speech therapy services and collaborate with a team to support students' needs.
Requirements
Assess speech-language skills to determine the need for therapy.
Provide quality speech therapy services as mandated on the IEP.
Consult and interface with colleagues at team meetings.
Provide parent training and maintain ongoing communication with parents.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation.
Participate in staff development activities.
Meet with supervisor on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
New York State Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped, or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities.
Master's degree in speech-language pathology and/or NYS Professional License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
