Description:
• We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for a preschool special education program in the Bay Ridge area.
• This contract position involves working with children ages 3-5 who have developmental disabilities, focusing on speech, language, and communication skills.
• The role requires onsite presence in Brooklyn, NY, from Monday to Friday, 08:00am-03:00pm.
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• NYSED Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification, or applicable qualifying certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in pediatric speech therapy.
• Experience with preschool-aged children or children with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education services.
• Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
• Early childhood intervention experience is a plus.
• CPR certification preferred.
