A Massachusetts-based health services organization is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its growing team in Concord.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Part-time and full-time
- Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week
- Setting: 135-bed facility
Responsibilities:
- Greets customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, creating a positive first impression
- Ensures a secure environment for customer safety and well-being
- Compliance with attendance and tardiness policies
- Managing patient caseload related to speech/language disorders and dysphagia
- Providing speech therapy assessment, treatment, and intervention
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- Master's Degree in Speech Therapy
- Current Speech Therapist Certification in the state of operations
- Experience in Home Health, Acute Care, or Rehabilitation Facility
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders, dysphagia, and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to effectively use communication devices and assistive technology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualificaitons:
- Master's Degree in Speech Therapy
- Current Speech Therapist Certification
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication devices
