Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-person, school-based position in the Covington, Georgia area for the 2026 2027 school year. Caseload: Approximately 55 60 students
Assignment: Typically 1 2 school sites
Interviews: Interviewing immediately
Student Population & Service Model
Mixed service model, fully in-person
Primarily self-contained classrooms
Caseload includes:
2 3 Moderate to Severe classrooms
1 Autism classroom
Primary age group: Elementary (Pre-K through 5th grade)
Possible high school component (to be determined)
NSY option available: traveling high school position serving a mixed population, including high school students
Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
Conduct evaluations and develop, implement, and manage IEPs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Participate in IEP meetings and school-related conferences
Qualifications
Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Georgia SLP license or ability to obtain
ASHA CCCs preferred;Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
School-based experience and experience with self-contained or autism populations preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
