Key Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist- Conduct Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) exams effectively.
- Provide speech therapy in an acute hospital setting.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress.
Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist- Certified/licensed Speech Pathologist with FEES certification preferred.
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
- Proficiency with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) exams.
- Possession of SLP and BLS certifications or equivalent.
- Prior hospital/acute care experience required.
- Effective communication, customer service focus, team-orientation, and basic computer skills.
