TheraPeds Partners is seeking a temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services in Elberton, Georgia. This part-time substitute assignment runs from July through October 2026 and is ideal for an SLP looking for a short-term opportunity in a collaborative educational setting.

- Supporting students in Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Guaranteed paid hours, including time for documentation, planning, and administrative responsibilities
In This Role, You Will
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with communication needs.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and help determine appropriate services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while maintaining compliance with district requirements.
- Manage an assigned caseload, including progress monitoring and required documentation.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication across educational settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective, student-centered intervention plans.

Pay
- $65–$75+ per hour, based on experience
- Estimated weekly earnings of $1,300–$1,500+
Requirements
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
- Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
- National License: ASHA
- Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- CF-SLP placement may be available
- Experience working with children
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
Physical Requirements
Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
