Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview:
Elwood Community School Corporation is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language services to students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams.
- Provide direct and consultative services in individual and group settings.
- Utilize data-driven strategies to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines.
- Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical standards of practice.
- Assist with yearly hearing screenings.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Indiana State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, flexibly, and as part of a collaborative team.
