Speech Language Pathologist – English

The Speech Language Pathologist – English provides school-based services for our students on an as-needed basis. The role supports student success through multidisciplinary collaboration, participation in ARD/IEP processes, timely documentation, and compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct speech/language evaluations.
• Develop IEP goals.
• Provide individual/group therapy.
• Participate in ARD meetings.
• Maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers and families.
• Use district platforms.
• Comply with IDEA, FERPA, TEA.
• Provide consultative services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Certifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas SLP license, CCC-SLP preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• School-based experience.
• AAC experience.
• Medicaid billing knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
