Speech Language Pathologist PositionSummary Evaluates and treats speech-language disorders/disabilities for children and adults, provide appropriate recommendations for treatment and prepares complete and timely reports and documentation. Primary Position Responsibilities 1. Evaluates Speech, Language and Swallowing disorders/disabilities 2. Provide therapy for targeted disabilities 3. Maintains acceptable patient care productivity 4. Completes thorough diagnostic reports and documents daily progress 5. Counsels and educates patient/family 6. Communicates with other essential medical personnel Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: â- Bachelors Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field â- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Preferred:Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required:1-3 years in a healthcare setting; dysphagia experience; may consider CFY candidate. Preferred: License, Registry or Certification: Required:NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs Licensure Speech-Language Pathology (or eligible for).
