Speech Language Pathologist

Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026- 2027 School Year

This position is with Cooperative School Services. Cooperative School Services is based in Rensselaer and serves nine school corporations: Benton Community, Frontier, Kankakee Valley, North Newton, North White, Rensselaer Central, South Newton, Tri-County, and West Central.

This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with preschool students with disabilities. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.

Start date: On or about August 5, 2026 End Date: On or about May 22, 2027 (anticipate 190 days total)

Age ranges of students: Preschool

Preschool SLPs are generally assigned geographically, though some travel is involved. Duties include:

• Initial evaluations
• Re-evaluations
• Case Conference attendance
• IEP development
• Direct and consultation services to students

Job Requirements:

• Indiana Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Effective spoken and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively work as a team member, either as a leader or as a participant
• Willingness to accept direction and ability to effectively complete assigned tasks on time
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy of information
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations

The position covers multiple school buildings and sites and requires the use of a personal vehicle for travel, with mileage reimbursement.
