Salary Range	$80,000 $115,000 per annum

THE ROLE

Our client operates a rural hospital district in West Texas providing acute, skilled nursing/rehab, and outpatient therapy services to a critical-need service area. This is a full-time, direct-hire Speech-Language Pathologist role with a competitive salary reflecting the premium typically required to recruit clinicians to a rural, hard-to-fill market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across inpatient, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings as assigned
• Perform swallow evaluations and make diet/safety recommendations
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation in compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and facility standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, PT/OT, and dietary on interdisciplinary care planning
• Supervise clinical fellows/SLP assistants as applicable
• Participate in facility quality, compliance, and community outreach initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; ASHA CCC-SLP
• Active Texas SLP license, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
• Willingness to reside in or commute to a rural West Texas service area

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Dysphagia/swallow study certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
