- Evaluate students to diagnose the severity and nature of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Create and implement customized therapy plans to improve articulation, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing ability.
- Select and teach patients how to use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
- Record initial evaluations, track treatment progress, and update patient medical or educational records.
- Work alongside doctors, teachers, nurses, and family members to ensure holistic care and carry out therapy goals.
