We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with an interest in pediatric feeding and speech therapy to join our growing team.

Position Overview 

\n

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide evaluation and treatment services for children with speech, language, articulation, apraxia, feeding, and early intervention needs. Caseload may include both in-office appointments and occasional home visits based on client location and therapist preference. 

\n

We are seeking a therapist who is compassionate, motivated, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with families and staff to support each child’s success. 

\n

 

\n

Key Responsibilities 

\n

Speech & Language Therapy 

\n

·      Evaluate and treat pediatric speech and language disorders  

\n

·      Provide therapy for articulation, apraxia, and early intervention needs  

\n

·      Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child  

\n

Feeding Therapy 

\n

·      Assess and treat pediatric feeding challenges and oral dysphagia  

\n

·      Support children experiencing:  

\n

o  Limited food repertoires  

\n

o  Difficulty transitioning to age-appropriate foods  

\n

o  Feeding delays and oral-motor concerns  

\n

·      Experience with pediatric feeding is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate  

\n

Communication & Collaboration 

\n

·      Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with families and staff  

\n

·      Document treatment progress and recommendations accurately  

\n

·      Collaborate with caregivers to support carryover at home  

\n

 

\n

Qualifications 

\n

·      Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina  

\n

·      ASHA certification preferred (CFY supervision available)  

\n

·      Pediatric experience preferred  

\n

·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills  

\n

·      Ability to work independently and manage scheduling needs  

\n

·      Afternoon appointment availability required  

\n
