Speech-Language Pathologist - Home Care - License Required

Speech Language Pathologist, PRN, Home Health Discovery at Home Sarasota County, FL (Venice and North Port)

Discovery at Home is hiring a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to serve the Discovery Commons South Biscayne and Aston Gardens Pelican Point campuses in Sarasota County, Florida. Candidates requiring sponsorship to work in the United States are welcome to apply. Please note that supervision for Clinical Fellowship completion is not available, and candidates must hold their CCCs.

About the Role

You will primarily work within assisted and independent living communities, with some home visits possible within the community. The patient population is primarily geriatric, with most cases covered under Medicare Part A Home Health along with some Part B. Clinicians have significant autonomy in determining their own caseload and daily schedule.

Schedule

Availability is required Monday through Friday between 6:00am and 6:00pm, subject to scheduling agreements with each patient. Weekend shifts are optional and not required. No major holidays. Flexible scheduling is a core feature of this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is in the range of $40 to $62 per hour, with increases based on experience and qualifications. Qualifications

Candidates must be eligible for Florida state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist and must hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a current CPR certification are required. Prior home health experience is preferred but not required. Supervision for Clinical Fellowship completion is not available. Candidates who require sponsorship to work in the United States are welcome to apply.
