Description SLP - Seaside Home Health Oregon Schedule: Part Time Days Location: This position is responsible for Clatsop and part of Tillamook County

Job Description The Speech Therapist manages and provides skilled speech-language pathology to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individuals functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program OR
  • Ph.D. from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program or equivalent education experience.
  • Coursework/Training: Specialized speech-language pathology training to meet a particular department need.
  • Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Occasionally a position will require specialized speech-language pathology experience to meet a particular department need.

The successful candidates placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime premiums, extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.

About the Team Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
