We’re seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a hospital-based team in Tucson, Arizona. This role is ideal for an SLP experienced in evaluating and treating patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

Position Overview

• Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

• Educate patients and families on strategies for communication and swallowing management

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)

• Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility

• BLS certification

• Must have previous acute hospital experience, and minimum 2 years recent experience in job.

• Previous travel experience is preferred.

• Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills
