    Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (Hybrid: In-Person & Virtual) - Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

    We offer small caseloads, typically serving 30-40 students, allowing for more personalized support and meaningful connections. We have full-time and part-time positions available.

    Part-time options include:

    • Two in-person days
    • One virtual day for report writing and meetings

    Responsibilities include:

    • Providing therapy services
    • Conducting evaluations
    • Developing IEPs
    • Collaborating with teachers

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • Have or be eligible for a Virginia SLP license
    • Bring relevant experience, ideally with preschool and elementary-aged children
    • Be knowledgeable about current best practices in speech-language therapy
    • Communicate effectively and work well within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
    • Be dedicated to supporting a diverse student population
    • Show a commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning
    • Demonstrate strong time management, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
    • Have a genuine passion for public education

    Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

    • Provide direct and indirect therapy based on IEPs/504 plans.
    • Conduct evaluations and write reports on speech, language, voice, fluency, and oral motor skills.
    • Create student-centered, strength-based treatment plans to support learning.
    • Ensure all services and documentation meet school, state, and federal standards.
    • Support teachers in recognizing and referring speech/language concerns.
    • Collaborate with educators to develop classroom strategies.
    • Work with teams to help students apply skills across different settings.
    • Keep timely and accurate therapy notes and progress updates.
    • Track services provided and missed due to absences.
    • Maintain documentation in IEP systems guidelines.
    • Offer training and resources to families.
    • Manage therapy materials and supplies.
    • Keep confidential records and submit reports on time.
    • Stay current on best practices in speech-language therapy
    • Identify students needing speech-language support through screenings and referrals
