Speech Language Pathologist in Aurora, IL

Step confidently into a rewarding speech-language pathology assignment serving students in grades K-2. This full-time contract position runs from August 24th through November 18th, providing vital maternity leave coverage. Your week will be thoughtfully structured: three days working within a self-contained classroom, and two days delivering pull-out speech services, allowing you to interact closely with both students and educators.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Recent experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Adaptability to support both classroom-based and individualized student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct thorough assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor progress
• Partner with teachers and other school professionals to support comprehensive educational goals
• Educate and empower families regarding speech and language support strategies
