Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible licensure in California as approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- School-based and/or pediatric experience preferred
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments for students with speech and language disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Lead therapy sessions that promote measurable progress toward communication goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and monitor each student's progress
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Involve families by providing education and guidance throughout the therapy process
