Hospital-Based | Full-Time | Inpatient & Outpatient Services
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary hospital team in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. This position provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across acute care and outpatient settings.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide dysphagia assessment and management, including bedside swallow evaluations and instrumental assessments (e.g., MBSS/FEES if applicable)
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational and physical therapists, dietitians, and case managers
Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and home programs
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and discharge planning
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Hawaii SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs may be considered with supervision available)
Experience in hospital or medical setting preferred
Strong clinical skills in dysphagia management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
