A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializes in diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. SLPs work with individuals of all ages to improve communication skills and enhance quality of life by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) work closely with other healthcare professionals and educate patients and family members about communication strategies to health improve speech in the patient's daily life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice disorders, and language comprehension.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other relevant professionals.
Maintain detailed records of patient evaluation, treatment, and progress.
Educate clients and family members about communication strategies.
Stay updated on clinical research and advances in speech-language pathology.
