Boomtown Therapy is currently seeking a skilled Speech-language pathologist (W2) to join our team of professionals working in the schools for the 26-27 school year. Part-time or Full-time options are available.
Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive assessments for students who are referred for speech and language evaluations in school settings.
Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services.
Develop and implement individual treatment plans and interventions to improve student's communication skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate strategies and accommodations to support students’ speech and language needs.
Administering a variety of standardized assessments to identify communication or language disorders.
Providing feedback and recommendations to parents and teachers about the results of the assessments.
Collaborating with other members of the education team, including teachers, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of assessments.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
Current Texas state license speech-language pathology.
Experience working in school settings and conducting assessments is preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
