    Role Description This contract Speech Language Pathologist role is a hybrid position based in Orange, CA, with a combination of on-site sessions and some work-from-home responsibilities. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating clients for speech, language, and swallowing needs; developing and implementing individualized treatment plans; and providing direct therapy to individuals across various age groups and backgrounds. The Speech Language Pathologist will document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes, and collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support effective communication and functional skills. The role also involves educating clients and caregivers about strategies for communication and swallowing, participating in interdisciplinary meetings as needed, and maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

    Qualifications

    • \n
    • Clinical expertise in Speech Therapy, including assessment and treatment planning.
    • \n
    • Knowledge and experience working with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
    • \n
    • Ability to evaluate and treat Dysphagia and related swallowing concerns.
    • \n
    • Strong skills in spoken and written communication, documentation, and client education.
    • \n
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • \n
    • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in California and ASHA CCC-SLP (or eligibility).
    • \n
    • Experience in outpatient, community, or school-based settings is preferred.
    • \n
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
