Coverage may occasionally be needed during the week or on weekends and holidays when team members are out sick or scheduled off, and we can offer flexibility in return. In this role, the SLP provides evidence\u2011based evaluations, treatment interventions, and education for patients and caregivers across a variety of diagnoses affecting communication, swallowing, cognition, and related disorders. Our per diem roles offer a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a wide range of diagnoses, from post\u2011surgical and chronic pain to neurological and vestibular conditions. We prioritize quality over quantity, ensuring a manageable caseload that allows you to focus on meaningful, patient\u2011centered care. Opportunities are available in both our acute care setting and our outpatient clinic, which is uniquely located within a wellness center to support a seamless transition for patients graduating from therapy. \n \nResponsibilities:\n \n1. Completes speech lang pathologist documentation, billing, and statistics per team guidelines. Manage daily caseload with efficiency and efficacy. Meets productivity standards per team guidelines.\n \n2. Administers basic evaluation and diagnostic testing and analysis, establishes a plan of care that consists of current and advanced techniques and subsequent modification to accomplish patient goals; Communicates relevant information to promote continuity of care.\n \n3. Provides clinical precepting and teaching for graduate students, staff, and clinical fellows under the guidance of the clinical specialist or other subject matter experts.\n \n4. Assists in the planning and coordinating of innovative clinical programs in collaboration with the clinical specialist, supervisor, or manager.
