The School District of Sheboygan Falls has a job opening for a full time Speech-Language Pathologist beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, with the first day of school this year being September 1st. Seeking dynamic candidates with background supporting PK-12 students with disabilities within an array of school and natural environment settings.
Qualifications: The candidate must possess the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff; understand the evaluation team process and the role of a speech/language pathologist in evaluating and programming for students; knowledge of formal and informal speech/language assessments; knowledge of contemporary formal and informal therapy materials and their application to address individual student needs; experience with autism, challenging behaviors and augmentative and alternative communication; experience providing speech/language services in inclusive school settings and preschool natural environment settings. Knowledge of the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and ability to construct written reports and other required IEP elements; knowledge of Medicaid billing and ability to communicate student needs to parents, staff and administration.
Requirements: Wisconsin DPI License 1820. Preference given to candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence, however opportunity for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is available.
