Description

The speech-language pathologist must have the knowledge and understanding of a variety of cognitive and communication disorders affecting children and adults. Competently diagnoses problems, designs and implements appropriate treatment programs, and communicates effectively with patients/families, team members, and payers as needed. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and the ability to assess and interpret age specific data and incorporate into patient care. Serves as an active member of the team in providing appropriate recommendations and referrals to meet the patients individual needs. Qualifications: Masters degree or equivalent in communication disorders California State License for Speech Pathology American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate First Aid certificate Pay:Annual Salary: $108,992 - $124,800
