Setting: Outpatient, In Person

About the Position\n

Morris Speech Therapy Associates, LLC is seeking a licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join our outpatient team on a part-time basis.

\n

This position is well suited for an SLP who enjoys clinical variety and wants the opportunity to work with both pediatric and adult patients. The caseload may include communication, cognitive, voice, feeding, and swallowing needs, depending on the clinician's experience and scope of practice.

\n

Our current need is particularly suited to clinicians who are available for after-school hours.

What You’ll Do\n

As part of our clinical team, you will:

  • \n
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, feeding, and swallowing evaluations as appropriate.
  • \n
  • Establish individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient-specific goals.
  • \n
  • Deliver one-on-one therapy to children and adults.
  • \n
  • Address a range of communication needs, including articulation, phonological, receptive/expressive language, fluency, voice, cognitive-communication, and motor speech disorders.
  • \n
  • Provide treatment for neurologic conditions, including aphasia, dysarthria, Parkinson’s disease, and related disorders.
  • \n
  • Provide feeding and swallowing intervention when appropriate to your training and scope of practice.
  • \n
  • Support AAC assessment, programming, and intervention when applicable.
  • \n
  • Track clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches based on patient progress.
  • \n
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical records, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with caregivers, families, and other professionals involved in a patient's care.
  • \n
  • Educate caregivers and provide practical strategies to encourage communication and functional carryover outside of therapy.

Qualifications\n

Required:

\n
  • \n
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • \n
  • Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • \n
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining appropriate clinical documentation.
  • \n
  • Strong communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • \n

Experience in every area is not required. We are interested in clinicians whose skills and interests align with the needs of our patients.
